Personal Protective Equipment
Personal Protective Equipment
Pool and spa professionals are exposed to hazards which put them at risk from head to toe. They work on their feet and with their hands, and some work is performed in confined spaces. Some professionals may even weld, cut, or braze and need protection for that work. Protection for these hazards and more will be covered in seven PPE sections: Personal Protective Equipment Fundamentals, Eye and Face Protection, Foot Protection, Hand Protection, Hearing Protection, and Respiratory Protection.
The PPE Online Course accomplishes the following objectives:
Demonstrate how to determine what personal protective equipment is required to perform a particular job
Identify the need to inspect personal protective equipment for defects before donning and replace as needed
Demonstrate an understanding of the need to wear personal protective equipment as it was designed to be worn
You will have access to this course indefinitely once purchased.
Pennsylvania Pesticide Applicator license holders earn 4 Core continuing education credits.
